Our clans are “regionally concentrated groups with a history of organized political autonomy” with “traditional rulers.” I’m sure that at least a few, if not more, of our clans have been committed to gaining political independence since 1945. Are we terrorists? Likely, in the eyes of the federal government. Modern Nation States are territorial monopolies won and enforced by violence. They do not like competition within their borders.
